Fist of the North Star has got to be the one of the most lame and over-the-top Japanese cartoons out there. Now there are other adult cartoons that are just blatantly ridiculous but FotNS is actually being serious. The plot wasn’t written on drugs and the dialog seems sincere enough but what you’re really treated to is exploding heads and detailed animations of outrageous mutilation.
