Sometimes there are rehashed games from the old vault that make you cry, like Shadow the Hedgehog. How in the hell did this come from the great Sonic titles back in the Genesis days? And don’t say, “It’s Shadow, not Sonic.” It’s from the same company under the same franchise, it is the same. They were losing their creativity and thought that Sonic’s evil half would be pretty hip if he had a gat – yes, it’s officially a gat. This isn’t some nerf-looking laser gun that would be more appropriate to the actual series. It’s a cheap, street glock used to kill innocent bystanders at the wrong address in a drive-by. » read more
How NES Box Art Almost Ruined Our Childhood

You are going to buy a Nintendo game today so it’s either your birthday or it’s close to Christmas. There was plenty of time in between these two great events to decide what game you wanted to buy. Unfortunately you had no resources; there was no internet to read reviews and you couldn’t trust Nintendo Power’s “reviews” either. All you can do is drag your parents to the mall and pray that they had something “bitchin” behind the counter.
