Spike Jonze is turning the beloved childhood book, Where The Wild Things Are into a full-length movie, which is also his first feature film. Here’s a bit of what Slash Film had to say about it.

Those who have seen really early test screenings of the movie are saying that the film is “Not for children.”

There is way too much anticipation among the public that this is going to be Godzilla. There’s also a flurry of self-proclaimed evidence on the internet saying that it is ‘Zilla. At this point, it would definitely be bizarre if it wasn’t Godzilla — it could even be a let-down.

As a nerd who loves his apocalyptic monsters, it would be so awesome to see something completely different and brand new, like this fan art. However, a big portion of myself along with all the crazy online evidence is led to believe it’s Godzilla. Look at this slow-mo video, you can see a right-leg of something that looks to have a T-Rex shaped body.

My all-time favorite villain is going to be the on-screen god that he deserves to be. As you all know by now, the new Joker is being played by Heath Ledger and from what I’ve been reading, it looks like he’s going to be “thee definitive Joker” of our generation. Man, I can’t wait! Corbin — New movie coming out that mixes Saw and the internet. It’s about a hacker that kills people via live internet streaming. This serial killer makes invisible websites and hacks everything from car computers to toasters. “He hacked my pacemaker, it’s only a matter of time until…blaaargh!”

Tray — There are so many things wrong with this movies premise that I don’t know where to begin. I can only hope that this sort of baseless internet fear-mongering bullshit further scares old people into staying the hell off of our internets.

That classic exchange of words means a lot to someone like me but did the writers and producers of the new Transformers movie keep in good faith with the original franchise? Yes, they did. Fist of the North Star has got to be the one of the most lame and over-the-top Japanese cartoons out there. Now there are other adult cartoons that are just blatantly ridiculous but FotNS is actually being serious. The plot wasn’t written on drugs and the dialog seems sincere enough but what you’re really treated to is exploding heads and detailed animations of outrageous mutilation.
