Blizzard has announced Diablo III at the 2008 Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational and launched the official website for the game that includes lots of media, including a fairly beefy gameplay video that shows the game already in a playable build that already looks great.

I don’t even know what to say at this point. This is either proof of an impending release or yet another part of 3DRealms’ epic prank to play a generation of gamers for morons. Take your pick.

If you pre-order The Orange Box, you can download the beta for Team Fortress 2 this Monday the 17th. I am excited about the new art direction of TF2, I think it suits the essence of the game very well. I’m looking forward to seeing what the new features are and how the game play has evolved.
