RodneyWhen you first played Skate or Die, you were greeted to this guy yelling at you but good thing there was no audio voicing back then. This is Rodney and he is looped out if his mind.

Notice the discoloration in his shirt, that isn’t texture shading - that’s sweat. Rodney works in a small skate shop in the blistering summer time where he has to deal with loud kids all day. I would punch kids out if I had to put up with that but Rodney is a much better man than me - he has a mullet-hawk.

Skater falling on head

Instead of starting potential lawsuits, he instructs kids to hurt themselves in a discreet manner. He’ll start them out on professional half pipes and dangerously steep downhill competitions. It was happy times for Rodney when children (3-feet-tall) came back with bent bodies and broken spirits. Through out the entire game, Rodney does nothing but egg-you-on to catch more air, skate faster, and jump further. Occasionally he would give you proper skating advice but only if you had enough points and scoring more points required more fractured limbs.

Because Rodney is my first badass pick, I had to honor him somehow. So, besides My Space glitter graphics, the only other way to show your appreciation via internetting is to make a totally sweet wallpaper. Plus, how can you say ‘no’ to those fabulous meth-ridden eyes of his.

Okay. Obviously this high tech site won’t let me post JPEGs, so I meant to show a picture of Rodney Dangerfield. “I get no respect.”
